On top, in the center. That is MFH for sure.

MFH is unknown maker, as I remember.

This is what I have found also
Very distinctive and attractive core design with a unique crown. Not the most common of crosses.

Ok I get it... MFH is the maker's mark on the suspension ring

MFH is one of my favorite design, an unusually high crown. Miro's is of different design, as I can see, that's the "usual" MFH crown:

Interesting. I didn´t know there is a variation.

                    Miro and Valter,
Here is my single mount "MFH" ,she's a bit worn but with the high diamond crown though lower in relief than Valters. It has a clear makers mark but not easy to photograph being mounted as it is on the bar.

Nice einzelspange, Scott. But I still think mine is closer to Valter´s than to yours. Correct me if I´m wrong.

If we ignore the fact that we hijacked Tiger's thread for another discussion, great pieces, Scott and Miro! Yes, there are certainly some differences, on both mine and Scott's cross letter and numbers are somewhat thicker than Miro's. The difference in crown details can be a fact that on mine example most of paint is worn off the crown, while Scott's is still painted. Miro, can you make a straight photo of your piece, it would be easier to compare.

                          Yes, I can.

Btw, I thought it was only "in the mean time" debate, while Tony posts close up of his "MFH" spange, not stealing the thread.

You guys aren't stealing my thread....so don't worry about it. Think of it as enjoying a box of chocolates....which we are. There's enough posts to think of it that way.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get some close up pics posted. Let me know if there's anything else you want to see.

Thanks again for your kind comments and some 'learnin' about the 'MFH' crosses.

                                Tony
