"Chocolates" with different centres {OK?}

Gentleman, my EK2 horde has produced an interesting find.

All these crosses are maker marked the same ,yet as you will see there are a total of 7 different core designs. Sorry no prize for identifying the maker , most of you will know them very well by now
All are three piece construction with magnetic cores. I will post the pictures to the appropriate reference thread, but first would like your opinions on my findings.

But I think I should explain the group for the other viewers , All of the crosses are maker marked "KO" and all cores are different .The reference thread only accounts for four core designs but as you can see here I have seven cores.

Does anyone have any more??

Although KOs are rather unappreciated by collectors due to their quantities, they offer a wide variety of designs. Especially I like the center and lower right ones, very neat crowns. Thanks for showing this cute family.

And yes, please, update the reference thread! Those of us who only recently contracted 1914EK2 virus really appreciate these references.

I hope that the Iron foundry theory who cast and stamped these core for the medal makers hopefully gets taken more serious one day.

Thank you Valter for your comments and yes I will be forwarding this to the reference thread once I have some more information on each core.

Kay, I for one do take the theory of which foundry produced what core and to which jewellers they supplied them seriously. This is why I am trying to get as many 1914 EK2;s as I can so to better understand the relation from one maker mark to the next. Also gives a great reference library to ID unmarked crosses.

Before this goes to the data base would like to find out which cores match other marked crosses and if possible the time line of which core came first and which was produced later (closer to the TR period) before KO started to produce the "65" crosses for the LDO. Would like to make sure the post to the data base is as complete as possible.
