Verry old Picture - unknown Uniforms and Guys ?

I got this days this verry old Picure...i think its from 1870-90 ? What do you mean - this are shows soldiers ??? I dont know this uniforms ??

I think Chip and Gerdan have it right. The one soldier has the flaming bomb collar insignia for artillery. The building is interesting. Something you would see in Canada about this time.

I got this wit a lot of old german WW 1 Pictures - comes all from one German Family...! Myteriös .....a British or Canadian..from this time in a german house...
