      Trench art might be a better term perhaps. Makes me wonder if it was done as a serious effort or just to pass time in the treches during a lull in the fighting. Oretty cool none the less.

            Awesome piece of history, "trench art" or "field made" either way it's a little gem. Quite fond of these oddities , could you please post a side on photo.

                  It's not anything major nor was it expensive.
                  It has it's own charm that I find attractive.
