    Kaiserpreis for artillary worn on the upper right sleeve with a navy blue cloth backing. Essentially it's a marksman's award for a canonier. It also existed for infantry with crossed rifles. I'm not sure when it was instituted. But, I've seen them with dates as far back as 1900. They were awarded yearly.

    Others more knowledgeable will have more precise information.

      I found an example of the infantry version by Juncker, so you can see how it would look complete with cloth backing and backplate.

          The same insignia (with the crossed cannon barrels) was awarded to navy gunners.
