hi bill,

i recently purchased a similar one on internet but item was lost in the post !(unbelievable i know).i paid $230 but did not have the miniture.if you buy,i would be interested in buying from you even with the damage as i have being looking for a cased one.

I have this medal being offered to me. The suspension loop has broken off which you can see in the pictures. It is cased with the small version also there. What is this worth in this condition? <O

Thanks for the replay. I found one on a site in the mean time for $750 cased with out miniature. The guy that offered this one to me wants $800 I might pass?

.... you will find that $800 is over twice what one of these should sell for, stone cold mint!

I can not testify on price but I can say this - that is not a third class. It is a 4th class - the only grade of the order where the arms of the cross are not enamelled. 3rd class is same size with white enamel on arms of cross.
