I agree with Don reguarding the maker's mark being stamped before enamel work being done. If they tried to stamp it after the enamel work it would have shattered the enamel

Given that important observation, Don (and PzrWest), it would seem likely these have to have been cast and not die-stamped, no matter how beautiful a finish was ultimately achieved. That would actually explain a lot, as their thickness appears nearly--but not quite--equivalent to the usual two-sded award, which would otherwise require some finagling of the original die--likely too thick to have been stamped anyway--or addition of a backing plate, which ought to be visible. All Godet two-sided PlMs appear to have had both the eagles and the pie-suspension "soldered"/sweated on, whereas there is no trace of either, here. Comparing the reverse sides of any two suggest they were derived from the same original piece, too (though curiously, two of those bearing the Meybauer mark have different size marks).
