    Hi Andy,
    Not seen these before but they look more like "hallmarks" not the usual letters of a makers mark. Have you any idea of a match to the frame?
    The crown shaped one looks a bit like oak leaves?

        that particullar sign with the K is used 1941 by a firm called
        Keune & co besteckgroßhandlung mettmann/RHLD

        if I remember correctly ,...............
        Also some of the 1939 oak leaves with diamonds are marked with that sign.
        but traced to a different medal maker ( forgotten the name )
        (1939 era is not my favourite field so,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, )

        what is it ,,can you show a full picture ?

              100% correct on the core Kay
              As the new owner of this unusual marked cross I am trying to get a better ID on it. Core is that of those found on "CD800" marked cross's but the frame isn't a match. Hope to get some macro photos of the marking to post.
