Outstanding find Greg! Does the jumpring move or is it soldered? Any close ups of the inner corners? Looks like it matches one of the frames.

Never saw a reduced size Oaks together with a Type A Prinzen before. Trifold ribbon is also a first for me.

Pic of the CHR mark on button would be interesting too.

When I saw this cross on eBay, I had some doubts about the originality of oaks.

Maybe it´s only me (I hope so), but can somebody post some other prinzen 25clasp of the same type to compare? Thanks in advance.

Here is detail of Greg´s piece. Sorry for that, but I am always downloading reference photos of interesting crosses.

This is one of the type of reduced size oaks i believe in. Will try to find some pics in the files.

I know this type, I just want to know if all pieces of this type have such soft detail with porous numerals.

Maybe it´s just this crazy supermacro that makes the 17 mm clasp looking like it was casting fake.

          Many thanks.

            Carl,
I will try to get a shot of the button but so far I have not been
able to get a good angle.

Here is a scan of the inner corners.--

The small ring does not move. It is done just that a typical
fullsized TypeA. The ring is soldered on the reverse side of the
frame and open on the obverse side.

Ok, you think it's cast. On pic it does look slightly pitted, guess the back will tell.

I don´t think, I just ask. And I agree, the back can be the answer.
