What does the purity mark on the "Agraffe" read? I doubt it's the "900" you said before. Should be "980" or "950"...

I agree 300 Euro is very little, but it's also true they don't sell well if badly damaged.
Hello, the purity mark above the swords is unreadable.

The mark on the ring is 900. Ring was tested for silver content and jeweller said "it is silver, but less content than 925, which is used now".

    Best, Miro

Okay - the rings are 900, of course, but the crosses are of higher purity.

The point is 980 silver was unsed on pre-war and possibly very early war crosses. I'm having one cross in 980 silver in stock, probably made from a pre-war award with swords added, awarded in late 1914...

Those are much rarer than 950 crosses. That's why I asked.

Here is detail, so you say. 9 and 0 are quite clearly visible, but the numeral in the middle can be whatever.

I thought it was 0, but from now on, I see 8 there. Hehe.

As mentioned before, the crosses don't exist in silver 900/000, from what I know, but in 980/000 and 950/000 only.

You're gladly invited to share pictures of such a cross with well-readable mark...
