    Mecklinburg- Schwerin Medal Bar

I just reciceived this medal bar today. I have seen a lot of non Prussian bars with the EK2 mounted backwards, but is there a certain reason for this Mecklinburg-Schwerin cross to be mounted backwards or is it a outfitters mistake Thanks for your info. Regards Chris

I don't have an answer to your question, but if it makes you feel better I have a House of Reuss Silver Merit w/swords that is mounted backwards as well.

Forgot to mention that my bar came from "The Other Evil Twin" Rick Versailles.

              Not mounted backwards .....

.... but the correct way. Your Reuss Silver Merit w/swords is right way round .... take a look in Nimmerguts book, page 283. The crown and initals are to on the reverse side.

Here's a pic of my bar .... also from the same "Evil Twin".

Mike, thanks for setting me straight on the Reuss!

Chris - didn't mean to hijack your thread.
