Hello guys,
how about this insignia? It seem to be in use during the Napoleonic war. I presume that it was for a Tschako of a German Landwehr unity. Can you help me?

Yes, a plate for a prussian landwehr tschako. But this type was used unit World War I on the tschako model 1888. (see www.kaiserbunker.com)

There are a lot of modern copys on ebay, i cant say if this one is original.
