    Hello everybody,

I wanted to share some pictures of that unique crucifix made out of grenade shells. I was really impressed when I got it and hope you like it too.

    Enjoy!

      Hello Klaus,
While not my choice in iconography ,it is still an outstanding piece of trench art .

        Hi,

A nice piece with a very, very high starting price in auction. 350 euro is already beyond its sale point. If it does sell I'll be surprised:-) I'd take half that price off and then still probably walk away. Good luck:-)

        Cheers,

        Jamie.

          Thanks everyone!

I respect your point of you, Jamie, but I agreed to the consigners starting price since I´m convinced there is "no price" for an unique items like this. You have to admit you will never find anything like that around.

              Hi mate,

The Consigners starting price is King You're right, there is no "real price point" for these types of items. I think in this case the Consigner does not wish to part with this item for any less amount than what is on offer- anything else on top is gravy I hope they get their price.

I hope you have a fantastic sale. I'm after one item in particular- fingers crossed.

              Cheers,

              Jamie

Very beautiful and impressive piece! If it would be in my price range, I'd buy it, it's really unique item. And it has some very deep simbolic - Jesus crucified on granade pieces simbolizes the cruelty of modern war.
