Imperial Pilot Group, opinions...

I have a friend who owns this group. The group has been in his possession since the early 70s as far as I know. I don't have any history where the group came from, only that the owners father found it (and was a big collector at the time) The grouping consists of the following:
1- letter fragment
2 - 2 pieces of fabric
3 - photo
4 - IC 1st and 2nd
5 - wound in silver
6 - button
7 - pilots badge

I am curious what others think of the grouping. I have some opinions, but the badges are beyond me. I am researching the date and have several possibilities for German aircraft shot down.

Hi Chris,

The biggest question for me is the Pilot's Badge. Could you please show a pic with the pin down and a better shot of the catch.

All the other badges/crosses are fine. I'm assuming the Oct 10 date refers to 1918, in which case the Wound Badge is plausible. I like the look of the fabric too, but I'm certainly not knowledgeable in that area so wait for better opinions.

You need to determine the stitch count on the fabric.
Original WWI German aeroplane fabric is consistently 50 stitches per inch.

For me the pilot badge is not good.
