What crappy fake cross, didn't even get the beading on the cross. Some cheap fake crosses are 100 times better than this piece of junk

Must have been a brave guy. He won the Iron Cross for the Somme a few months before the war even started.

(I wish I could take credit for this joke, but someone else made it in another thread on the same cross )

Wasn't 'SY WAGNER' a well-known Jewish tailor in Berlin?

Sorry, Don, am I missing something? According to my Central European info, World War I started on 28th July 1914, ten days after "issue" of this cross. First german involvement is from 4th August 1914, which is still less then month. "Few months" after, 2 years precisely, was only Battle of Somme.

                  Regards, Miro.

What day did the German Army reach the Somme? The award is pretending to be for an action on the Somme, not necessarily the Battle of the Somme.

                      cross

That guy should be on the list of ebayers not to buy from. He sells a lot of fake ss tabs on ebay and all his auctions are private . Not to be trusted .
