    This two Pour le Mérite belongs to one of my friend . There are some other friend think it maybe not original . I think it is best discuss here . Your expert's opinion are very helpful . All kinds of opinions are well , thank you very much .

        The second one looks like a so called 1957 version by Steinhauer and Luck. They were made as official replacements and for the collectors market. Not sure about the first one.

          1st one is a WW1 style Godet - I don't see any letter chasing, so you will need to provide much better pictures of it to get any further than this.

          2nd one, dime a dozen.

            You really need to ask your friend if there are any makers marks or numbers anywhere on the first cross.

              Hi I agree the 2nd is a S&L with it original case . The first you need better pictures as it looks like a original godet but need clear pictures of it and check the pie wedge at the top or makers mark. Cliff

                  Post-WWII S&L PLM and a Godet of some type. We need much better photos and also information about markings.
