At first glance, I thought it was a Godet. Especially when I saw the
wide hinge block and wide catch. However, the spoon shaped pin
is somewhat similar to a Zimmerman.

Also, once I lightened up the picture, The date does not look anything
like a Godet OR a Zimmerman.

Has anyone seen one like this before?

Yes-that's a known variation of an unknown manufacturer! Not very often to see these days-but your example is matching the one in my collection!
