Imperial Book - Der Angriff Im Stellungskrieg

Hello all,
I bought this a while back and never had the proper people to ask.
It seems to be some type of field manual but not published and full of pages and pages of annotations and additions. Some pages are underlined some are pasted in and some in in excess of 10 pages!.
Has unit stamps , I have no found any signatures etc.
Is this any good?

Yes, it is a field manual for assault actions in trenches. It's (was) a confidential book (Geheim!) and it states on top that it must not be taken to the front lines (where it could be captured by enemy). An interesting and cool book.

I have managed to translate a great deal. The person who is revising this book has some serious issues with the previous copy hence the large amount of note/correction etc. The way in which the extra pages are written and organized it is definitely a person with combat experience as well as a above average education. What is something like this worth. I Do not normally deal in this type of item

It would be a niche item that only a few collectors would actually pay for due to the language barrier.

With translation programs i can translate the printed materials. The problems becomes translating the cursive writing.

Exactly. I know of only a few collectors that can reliably read Sutterlin.
