    I'm a bit confused in the Moment.
    Got this Dog Tag and thought it is Gebirgs Feldartillerie because of the Edelweiss what came from the same Cigar Box, but found that GFAR is short for Garde Feldartillerie Regiment.
    Maybe somebody can help me with this.

        Hi Nico,

        I think there is a good possibility that they are unrelated. Families tended to throw their military related items in a box and it is not uncommon to see WWI and WWII things mixed together from generations living in the same house. I'm not completely sure (as I don't collect WWII items), but I think that Edelweiß is a WWII example.
