B7R regimentally marked butt plate on 71/84 Mauser

I have a Mauser 71/84 rifle and the butt plate is marked to B7R,
What regiment could this be please?

I was thinking that, but I thought the Bavarian regiments had their own rifles and not the 71/84?

All of the G71/84s I have owned were unit marked to Bavarian Regiments, allbeit Ersatz formations. I think I have only seen one or two 71/84s marked to Prussisn regiments. The Royal Bavarian rifle factory in Amberg produced thousands of 71/84s.
