    Meybauer EKI SB, D.R.G.M. arrived!

My first Imperial screwback. What a nice cross! Opinions welcome.

Cross is marked '900', backplate (whatever it is called) marked '500', and the nut screw is '800'.

    Hope you enjoy the photos...

Aren't these just magnificent crosses? Congratulations. The finest of the luxury private-purchase EK1s (along with sterling silver Pillowbacks, and the various Godet versions).
      Best regards,
      Streptile

        Thanks Trevor,

I'm starting to build, with your help, some nice sets of EK's. This is the bulk of what I have so far, not including a few other 1914 and 1939 EK's in other mounts. The furthest three sets to the right are Meybauers. You'll notice I'm still missing a '39 Meybauer Schinkelform EKI. The others are Godet's, CD800's, AWS's, and '39 Zimmermann's to the far left.

            Thanks Scott,

I appreciate the comments. It's always nice when you find a cross to fill a hole in your collection. I think a nice Meybauer Schinkel EKI will take awhile.

                  Thanks Lee and Greg,

It's got that true vintage and worn look to it, the reason I bought it.

Yes, then an AWS EKI and a cast-core maker-marked Godet EKII also. I then found a maker-marked sheet metal Godet EKII through Peter in Stockholm.

Actually, Trevor offered me quite a few nice EK's to get me 'back in the running'.

                          Quality, not quantity.
