Cant quite make out whether it is 800 or 900.
Also notice the details of the crown in the first photo. Does not look too good.
The cutouts between the eagles legs and tail feathers look as if they have been drilled out. This would have required special equipment. Someone seems to have gone to quite a bit of trouble to do it.Attached Files

Nontheless, these are the finest reproductions of the 1914 serie, even if more expensive than standart and mid class copys like the Steinhauer und Lück ones, better than paying 10.000+ Dollar.. or what means better, but fair price/gain relation if you are just looking for a high quality place holder

I know some recipients like Ernst Junger wore S&L pieces after WWII as replacements, but they are inferior in style and workmanship even to this reolica/copy IMO.
