Hi all....first post and looking for some help. I just picked up this group and want to learn more about it. I was told the grouping is Austrian and the certificate is for the soldier from the unit photo in the middle of the bottom row. Thanks for any input on what these items translate to!

The certificate is a death notice and announcement of of church service by his family in his memory.
He died in fighting around Doberdò del Lago, Italy on November 10, 1915, which means he was part of the Army of Isonzo. His unit was KK Landwehr Inf. Regt. 3 and he was a holder of the large silver medal of merit, Austria. His rank was Stabsfeldwebel or Staff-Sergeant. He was 29 when he died.
On the photo - kk. LIR Wien No. 1 is KK Landwehr Infantry Regiment 1, Vienna.Last edited by Brian L.; 12-14-2012, 08:44 PM.
