Can anyone please identify this badge? Is it Bulgarian, Austrian, German?

Judging by the colours of the flag and the cross at the bottom, I would say Bulgarian. No idea aprt from that though...

Badge of honour of the Bulgarian Infantry. WW2
Never seen one with the bottom cross moulded as part of the badge. The cross should also be enamelled. I would be interested to see if it is original.
