    Schaumburg Lippe Military Merit Medal

    Hello !

I don't have seen any subject about this not common award !

I can show you two models :

1/ The first is a 1870 model (with the specific suspension), but with the 1914-18 swords : maybe an overstock from the french / prussian war, reused in WW1

    This model is cased :

The second one is a WW1 model, with a ring suspension. This model is awarded with the red cross insignia, wich was founded in 1914.

Now, the family get together !

And if we compare the two models, we can note that the 1870 model is more tock than the 1914 model...

      Now, please show yours !
Any picture and knowledge are welcomed !

              Award numbers that I have are 58-72 between 1849 and 1864, and 583 between 1870 and 1871.

              Regards
