The base is about 6" by 6" and the mortar itself is about 4" long. It really makes a perfect desk top display. I want to frame the minenwerfer assault map I have and place it in front of it with maybe a couple photos of minenwerfers alongside as well.
It looks to be trench art but it is funny how the German description is written on it and then there is the English label as well which is not as fancy (almost looks like it was added later).

Ahh, much better pics. It makes for a very nice display piece. All's it needs is a couple of scaled to its size German soldiers. Very cool item, thanks for posting.
