Yesterday got this interesting picture, two British POW captured by Bulgarian troops on the Balkan front. Here they are:
And here goes the story, as written on the back side:
For rememberance to my friends ???, from their "Englishmen hunter". Caught in captivity by himself and 9 of his lads from his company, on ... September 1917, 3 hours after midnight, during the attack at... , committed by him and 30 brave men.

??? - I could not read the name of the family he was writing to. As for the dots, hehimself missed the exact date during September 1917 and the exact location, to keep the military secret.
A company commander with aBravery cross, seems this Boris is the one in white uniform, he is the senior officer n the picture and also the decorated one.

Not even heard of... But sure there must have been...
. The total was about 64-5 regiments, but in the later part of the was smaller regiments were created from reserves and from parts of other regiments, so the total grew up to 84-5 regiments/.
