    Some of the collection was removed to Nuremburg in 1938 and returned to Austrian control by US forces in the post-war period. I don't believe all of the 'removed' material made it back to Vienna.

      Actually brought a towel. Mostly for cleaning the windows before taking pics but also because my nose leaves round grease marks.

      Wish they approved of Tripods so one could get better pics. Next time will at least bring a monopod.

      Camera used was a Nikon D7000 with a 105 VR Microlens. Cam copes with high ISO values (6400) without getting too grainy. Lens is pretty light sensitive (f/2.8), very good for small stuff but a bit too long for larger objects.
