Hi, I'm trying to find out what WW1 regiments my great-grandfather served in and what years. Any help is appreciated. I have attached his full service record.

Hi,
as far as I can read he started 24.10.1903 with the I. Infanterie Regiment, 3. Kompanie
München. He was trained as pioneer.
From 1905 - 1912 he made some military reserve training with this unit
Later when WW1 started (6 Aug 1914) he came back to his unit and served with them til 11
Nov 1918, as far as I understand and as far as I see always the same unit.

He was promoted Unteroffizier 11.4.1918 and Sergeant 21.4.1918
He was demobilized 7.1.1919.
His awards:
23.12.1916 Militär Verdienst Med. III. Klasse mit Krone
9.4. 1911 EK II
17.2.1918 Dienstauszeichnung III. Klasse für 9 jährige Dienstzeit ( 9 year service)
3.9.1918 Bayerisches Militär Verdienst Kreuz II. Klasse mit Krone und Schwertern
31.3.1918 Ehrenurkunde (certificate of honour) des Regiments

If I were to look for a Regimental Stein with his name on the back roster, what would be my best bet for regiment? This is my main goal.
It looks like a variety of years for King's 1st Bavarian Infantry Regiment, 1903 and onward? Possibly a pionier regiment?Comment
