Items to ID and find out about

I was going through some of my old things (still trying to get my junk sorted out) tonight. I found some things I had forgotten, and don't really remember about them since my stroke.......some German, some U.S.. I would like to know about them, i.e. what exactly are they and what a fair value would be for them, because I know I don't want to keep them all.

This is a hand done memorial certificate by Georg Gunkel. I have a few other things of his including some kind of gourd stringed instrument that I think he made when he was in a POW camp in Dorchester.

Is something like this something that would be desireable? I think I also have his soldbuch and maybe some documents.

What might a fair price be?

I don't know about you folks, but I think hand done stuff is always desirable. Weather that translates to a big price tag is another thing.
