    Help to identify neck order

    Hello, guys.

    Here is the thread: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=568548

1 month of search without result.

Portrait was made in the Giessen (Hesse). Also, #2 medal in the medal bar could be Hesse General Honor Decoration "For Bravery". Monogram on the medallion is similar to this one: http://www.medal-medaille.com/sold/p...oducts_id=3872

Could you help me to identify this neck order?

    Greetings, Rostyslav.

The letter in medalion of this order is a "W" with crown - looks very prussian (Wilhelm I / II).
First time I see something like this... Shooting awards (for Shooting King) are simillar, but I doubt it may be one of this.

Are you shure about the letter in medallion? IMO, it's the cipher of the Ludwig III.

Could you write me more (or give lniks, if such exist) about shooting awards (for Shooting King)?

It's a L and I have no idea, what this award is.

A shooting award should not be worn on uniform, I guess. But I think it may though be something like this. It just looks like.

I personally think something of an order, as it has a matching breast star. Maybe some sort of Johanitter kind of organisation?

          Best regards,
          Michel

Maybe you're right, but... take a look and judge it yourself:

It was my first thought too. There was many unoficial orders, sometimes unique [f.e. masonic or ecclesial ones].

P.s. Andrew - shooting awards was awarded for shooting tournaments organised f.e. by hunting associations. Shooting King was a winner of such tournament and in most cases he received a neck order (mostly unique).
