EK II marked 'SILBER'

A double marked Silber EK1 is not common at all so this is probably why it went for the price it did, not to mention the bidding competition.
Was it worth that much? No, but obviously to the two bidders it was. Collecting has been known to lead to madness so beware, there will be a sizable hole in your savings before you know it

Well the madness continues on eBay as a J.H. Werner EKI just went for over 800 Euros (over $1,100 USD). It was a nice piece. But, come on! Really?
It's clear that there are many collectors with more money than sense.

If I ended up selling the EKII marked "SILBER", what's a fair price to ask?

I do want to hang onto it. But, I may need to sell it to help finance something more in line with my interests.

As much as I hate to, I have to sell this piece. There are too many other items I am after, that are more in line with my area of collecting.

This belongs in the collection of a dedicated EK collector.

I've put it on e-Stand at a rather hefty price. But, I'm open to offers from those on here who took the time to give me the benefit of their knowledge.
