no, this looks like a document for a Landwehr service award.

Here is one for a "stahl" version with combatant ribbon.

I think you can read the name in the document?

The Wehrmann (rank) of the Infanterie: Johann Senftinger, born in Rainhausen, Amt (district)

Stadtamhof, Kreis (County) Oberpfalz was awarded with the decoration from the

1st Infantery Brigade. Dated: 1 Oct 1879

Not the right one. The medal was isued from 1913 on, the document is from 1879. Back than, it was a woven silk bar with "L II", monogramm of king Ludwig II.

But from what I know, the wearer from 1879 could have ordered and worn the new one from 1913 on...
