Help with EK2

Hello all
I just picked up this EK2 . The ring is faintly stamped 800 .If there are no red flags I would like to identify the maker.

No problems, maker is KO (unknown name at this time).

EDIT: I'd want to have it in my hands to check that it hasn't been repainted.

Streptile thanks for your reply. When I first handled the cross I joked that I thought it was a repro. The paint is smooth and the ribbon is as crisp as a new one.I checked it under black light and it did not light up. I will show it to some dealer freinds in Toronto to see what they say as well.
