    Fleamarket Epaulettes

    I picked these up today at my local little fleamarket. I have no idea what they are, or when they are from. Any guidance? I appreciate all help, and will repost them where necessary.

    The buttons are very well marked. Materials lead me to believe these may be DDR.

      The construction looks like DDR (general's rank, but stars are missing, and "shoelaces" are shortened) - but these should have gold buttons. The eagle on button also looks non-DDR.

        FLL is in Ludenscheid so these are not DDR.

          Thank you both. I have been told these are from a marching band from West Germany in the 1960s. That makes some sense to me given the other stuff in the basket where I found them.

            The design is that of the shoulder boards for a LW General.
