Considered to be a Godet made piece - but also considered (very) post war (1930 - 1945). I would wager it's Bronze Gilt. Sits in an odd chronological juxtaposition with the 'Schickle' PLM's... both types being heavily linked to Godet during this post-war time frame IMO.
Lacks many of the wartime produced Godet PLM's finer features such as letter chasing, and eagles are substantially cruder than its WW1 period cousin. To me, that looks like a repro ribbon as well.
I suspect it will be either unmarked for silver content, or perhaps 925?
Not a true gem then, but neither is it chopped liver.
