    1870 ek2

I decided a few months ago that I needed an 1870 EK2. I'm no expert and ebay was a minefield of fakes so I decided I needed to buy one on the forum. (Thanks to GregM for keeping me from bidding on the 9th bead fake on ebay!)

I mentioned to Trevor that I was looking for one and within a few weeks he contacted me that he had one. When I saw pics of it I knew I had to have it.

Trevor sent the cross through the US Postal Service with tracking. A day or so after it left NYC on its way to Illinois the tracking showed the cross was in Macon, GA! No further updates were posted for several days. We were both on the edge of our seats waiting to see if it turned up. Finally, it was delivered here after a tour of the south.

I'm very pleased with my purchase and want to thank Trevor for making this happen. He's a gentleman in every way and I hold him in high regard.

Fantastic addition. I started in TR but I seem to be more and more fond of these crosses as you go back. I only have one 1870 but I really love them. They have a great amount of character. Nice pick up!

                Hi Gary,

The cross is a real beauty and I'm happy you have it

on its way to Illinois the tracking showed the cross was in Macon, GA!
Also, thanks for the nice words. Yes, that was a real nail-biter: 10 days for USPS Priority Mail with the tracking number falling off the grid for the last 8.

                Phew!
                Best regards,
                Streptile

Beautiful cross, and I agree, Trevor is a great guy to deal with.
