I saw that. It's a lot of money but then again, when was the last
time you saw a named and documented 1813? I personally don't
think it's worth over 20 times what I would pay for a 1813.

It appears that book may have the names of all the EK recipiants?

Agreed, crazy price but that book could be worth it's weight in gold.

This EK II 1813 group was offered in the spring auction on 5/6 Mai 2011 at Hermann Historica
in Munich for 15.000 EUR (no. 4171) first, but it was not sold.

It gives only the names of the "Angehörige des Kaiser-Franz-Grenadier-Regiments (umfassend die vormaligen Pommerschen, Westpreussischen und Schlesischen Grenadier-Bataillone"

              But what a grouping

              And waaaaaayyy over my head...
              Best regards,
              Michel

                a nice cross ,

                a nice price .

but with such books you better be careful ..

with that price you need Moore as a dealers word fore it .

I think there is a high value in the unpublished personal report of Schiebler.

The recepients were all published in the prussian list of decorations = Preussische Ordensliste" in 1817, incl. those persons who died in the meantime. 1st and 2nd class, ribbon for combattants and non-combattants.
Name, rank, regiment and the battle, the iron cross was awarded for. Schiebeler is on the page below, No. 4127.
I just startet to type them in an excel-file. I will post the list, if its complete.

                      Regards
