Cut-out wound badge for review

What do you guys think of this example, I was thinking of picking this up. WWI is not my main area, but I will like a cut-out to be part of my wound badge display set-up.

It looks like an extremely nice BLACK class that somebody has scrubbed the finish off down to the base metal trying to turn it into "gold."
