Trench art: What is this grenade? And the other pieces?

Hi, today got this piece of trench art and trying to find out what are the pieces it is made of. It has been probably a candle holder, has had either a spike, or an empty shell of not big caliber for the candle on top, but it is gone. Also, most of the bullets that wer hanging on it are gone.
But lets try to identify the parts that are present.
The base - it is cut from an artillery round shell, 79 mm diameter, marked FN in a circleand year 1917. What gun is it from?
Then the round grenade - what model is it, from which country?
The clips with bullet shells - I believe they are Mannlicher rounds, aren't they?
At last, the circle that goes around is cut from a kind of "clock". Maybe a part from a destroyed artillery gun? n the lower side of it there are numbers going around. They go something like this - 50 100 150 200 250 300 350 400 450 500 550 600 Nice numbers, factory written in the brass.

Many thanks in advance for ideas about the identification of these pieces!

Most likely a cigarette holder. and ash tray below. The missing part int he center was more than likely a matchbox holder.

Cigarettes stick in the emtpy shells for your guests..

Haha forget the bomb, it is wooden! But the rest of the questions remain - are the clips Mannlicher, what is the artillery shell, what may have been the wheel with the numbers.

Yes, indeed this may have been a cigarette holder! Indeed a big part of the trenchart objects I've seen are related to smoking and cigarettes - cases, ashtrays, matched boxes etc.

I may be p*ssy whipped, but I doubt my wife would allow me to display that in our living room.
