                    Hello GWA:
Very nice Ulan! It took me 10 years to do a
deal with another collector to obtain my own two
foot tall Imperial fahnentrager. Likewise, I also like
flags in lithographic art prints, and even better the
actual unit flags themselves, which are IMO the
ultimate form of hand done Imperial artwork.

Don´t forget to mention the documents, which are very often a work of art too

For example this little document found it´s way into my collection just for pure coolness

                            China Made Imperial Eagle

Hand stiched on blue silk, the Imperial Naval Eagle with associated flags. I know some of these came with specific ships worked into the motif or the addition of the sailor picture that purchased the piece as a souvenier to take home to the Fatherland. I have also seen similar pieces made for "China Sailors" of the US Navy with all of the various flags of the other colonial powers. I found this one the best (and least expensive) with the original frame to hang in my "Bunker". I did replace the glass as I didn't want any effect of the sun discoloring it in the future.
