Saxon Garde Pickelhaube Lion

Hello,

I'm in search for something really challenging: A crouching lion (1906 pattern?) for a Saxon Garde pickelhaube.

Anyone got one sitting around in the back of a drawer? Or, maybe able to suggest where I might get one?

I have given up on hoping for an original, a credible copy would keep me quiet.

There is a guy out of Scotland that sells spike copies on ebay (I think his id is 'goodhelms').. and if I remember right.. he has the Saxon and Prussian guard helmets....

Hi Mark,

Thank you for reminding me. This is the fellow who produces castings out of resin - not quite what I am looking for, but thanks anyway.

Do any of our German members know? Every so often you see a "sammlerfertigung" hemet in one of the sales, so someone does them.
