    fantastic document,,congratulations.

that is wy godet marked his etui's with court jeweller" S

    in stead off Jeweller

a co operation off jewellers in Berlin it seems to be...or a swallowing off Godet or Werner with the firm name and registration intact .

    ( crisis ,, unfriendly take over perhaps ? )

      And yet more digging...

I'll post these few letterheads and then leave it to our German speaking friends to decipher whether they are informative or not.

      In date sequence as follows...

Don't even know what this is, but theres a 1920 date at the bottom which might be of interest?

As above, no idea what it is but another date - this time 1933 and mention of Wilhelm Deumer...

A quick check and the addresses all seem to line up with Trevors timeline give or take a year..

                      That's all. Must sleep...

Deumer co-owner of Godet & Sohn??

Here's a long stretch for you: We learned recently that Deumer was involved in the production of the RK, but unfortunately the photos of their shop are not clear enough to identify the type.

Godet and Zimmermann RK's, except for the paint on the cores, are identical.

In the Ludenscheid Museum, the RK shown as coming from Deumer is what we have called a Zimmermann............

Absolutely correct, but it makes you wonder about an ongoing connection of some sort which may have survived a transition from Godet & Sohn to Gebruder Godet (which is credited with the RK, not Godet & Sohn).
