    EK1 Vaulted, No mm, Maker ?

    Hello:
    Am trying to find maker and have searched here and not come up with one
    that has this hinge and attaching plate. Some one know?
    Was this cross painted or blued? Thanks, John

      Hi,

      Imo a repaired CD 800 or square punch. I like this core, there are two core versions of these makers I believe.

        Hi Michael:
        I have looked very closely with your two links and think the square punch
        core mostly resembles it. Mostly in the crown details.
        But why that hinge plate on mine.
        The catch is missing on mine.
        Please tell me what looks repaired to you? John

          that plate (holding the needle) soldered on the backplate looks like a jeweler repair. Still a shame the catch is missing.
