opinions on EKII

Hello. I picked up this EKII and would like to hear your opinions on it. It is three piece with a magnetic core and 'ED' stamped on the ring. I'm somewhat of a bookworm on militaria and am slowly getting into collecting...very slowly . Thank you in advance for your comments.

I havent looked lately but I think ED is still an unidentified maker on Jens' excellent list...

A very nice looking original cross indeed. Not sure on the maker though, does E.D. appear on this list? (I lost my bookmark to the list on Tony's site!!! Arrrgh!)
