Please help, chance to buy WW1 mask and gas mask! Genuine?

Hey everyone, if you could please lend your assistance. I have a chance to buy a WW1 German helmet and gas mask, but its reaching beyond my comfort level price wise, but if genuine, appears to be a great gas mask and a decent enough helmet.

How much would you think this is worth?

    Hey RH,
This is a much better condition M17 gas mask, there is not corrosion damage to the filter and the paper cord to support the filter is present, the cannister lacks the carring strap, but this is common cor this type of can. These are trading for between $200 and $300 in this region, if it had the straps for the can, it would increase the value by about $100, I am not sure what a good price for a decelt helmet shell is now, it looks like the liner band has not been removed, that is good, putting a reproduction liner in a helmet like this reduces the value, as it requires removal of the liner pins. It is like putting a small block Chevy engine in a WWII jeep, you can figure that everything spent, can be subtracted from the original value to get the finished value
