    Hi,

These just arrived recently; my second pair of Kaiser Wilhelm II shoulder boards in the rank of Generalfeldmarshall as Honorary Regimental Chief of a Jager Regiment.

Neat pieces. Amazing that there are much of Wilhelm's stuff on the market. One wonders if they were dispersed from the estate at Doorn.

How true. Even Iperial zink is of better quality imo.

              You said it.

              Very nice pieces.

What does the underside look like? How do these attach to the tunic?
              Best regards,

                Great pieces
So what is the cypher anyway? I recognise it as the Kaiser's but I
have a heck of a time reading it.

Very, very nice. I can't imagine that these were cheaply bought! I'd love to have some personal property of the Kaiser in my collection.

                    Hi Greg,

I read it as a stylized "W" with crossed cannon.
                    Best regards,

                      Hi Trevor,

They are crossed Field marshal batons.

I could look at that all day long and not see a "W".
I was thinking it was two different letters.

Try to see a "double U".

Too fancy for me. I guess that's why HE was the crown prince.
