The case is a modern repro. I can't remember who sells these but they are crap.

Mostly they are VERY bad for original badges. Acid acid acid. You guys buying fake cases for real badges are helping the rest of us by turning your badges into a pile of acid eaten crap though. So I'm conflicted on whether you chose to do it or not.

But yes, this tank badge is not real. Look up a thread on mine and you'll see what details consist of a real one.

These repro cases are sold by Nicholas Morigi, "The Regalia Specialist" in the UK. He doesn't state whether they are made from archival materials or not. Personally, if I don't have an original case for something, I keep it in a mylar sleeve - acid free, chemically neutral, clear as glass.
