Another memento of the Fredom War, a Prussian M/1809 bayonetfor the Infantrie Gewehr 1809. It was the issue Seitengewehr, with one minor change in 1839, until the introduction of the M/1841 to which a slot and locking ring were added.
The notch on the socket locked to the ramrod.
