    My medal bars

I am still a novice Imperial collector after collecting 1914 EKIIs for a while I starting to dipping my toes in to medal bars. Here is what I have so far and would appreciate any general comments. I am curious as to what kind of soldier would be receive the medals on the bar that has the HK, Austro Hungarian service medal and the Bulgarian service meal.

Nice selection of bars, Richard. Thanks for sharing.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm off the mark, but I believe WWI veterans could apply to receive and wear the Austrian and Hungarian commemoratives? Not too sure on the process or which soldiers were entitled per se. Hopefully another forum member can expand on this as I am curious too.

        Cheers,

        Adam

Thanks Adam, I am enjoying venturing over to the darkside as Rik L would say, I would presume that the bar in question would belong to a soldier who spent a far amount of time on the Eastern front to qualify for the Bulgarian medal. Any other ideas out there?
